Laugh in front of danger as an adventurer One of the differences between regular roguelike RTS games and KeeperRL is that here you are encouraged to get out of your dungeon and lead your troops to defeat the enemy. Inspired by the classic Dungeon Keeper and Dwarf Fortress, KeeperRL offers its players the opportunity to play either as a Keeper or as an Adventurer, providing a new experience from two different perspectives. Although that time is long gone, a few indie developers are still creating such titles, and one of them is KeeperRL. Maybe lots of you nowadays are looking forward to the next AAA game that's about to come out, but older gamers still enjoy playing 8bit or 16bit titles with roguelike mechanics that reminds them about the early days of gaming when graphics didn't matter that much. ![]()
